On March 10, 2016, the League of Women Voters of San Francisco (LWVSF) will honor four visionary women who are reshaping the San Francisco Bay Area. These exceptional leaders will be celebrated at the League’s annual Women Who Could Be President Gala.
The Women Who Could Be President honorees for 2016 are:
Caroline Barlerin builds innovative corporate-community partnerships and high-impact service programs. She leads Twitter’s community outreach and philanthropic efforts.
Gail Hunter has a winning talent for engaging communities. She is vice president of public affairs and event management for the Golden State Warriors and executive director of the Warriors Foundation.
Olga Miranda uses compassion and formidable negotiating skills to fight for worker rights. She is secretary treasurer of the San Francisco Labor Council and president of the Service Employees International Union Local 87.
Minna Tao has long demonstrated a commitment to service and giving back to the community. She is the first woman and first Asian-American general manager of Recology Golden Gate.
At the Gala, people can also learn more about how to get involved in the local election process through the League of Women Voters of San Francisco.
