The League of Women Voters of San Francisco, in partnership with Nissan Infiniti San Francisco, is presenting a candidate “Meet & Greet”, featuring local candidates.

What is the purpose of a Candidate Meet & Greet?

The Meet & Greet provides the community with an opportunity to speak face to face with their candidates before making their decision on Election Day.

The League of Women Voters of San Francisco is a non-partisan organization, dedicated to promoting informed and active participation in government. We are completely non-partisan, and we never endorse or oppose candidates. All candidates were invited, and treated equally.

The event is meant to be educational- to provide voters with an opportunity to meet with their candidates face-to-face before making their decision on Election Day.

Who will be at the event?

All local candidates have been invited. For non-partisan reasons, we cannot list the RSVPed candidates, but we can let you know that we invited candidates from the following races:

  • Board of Supervisors District 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
  • State Assembly District 17
  • State Assembly District 19
  • Board of Education
  • Community College Board
  • BART, District 8
  • Assessor-Recorder
  • Public Defender
  • Congressional, District 12

What can I do at the Meet & Greet?

The Candidate Meet & Greet is designed as a celebration of civic engagement. The most important aspect of the event is the opportunity for voters to speak with the candidates face-to-face- to ask them their questions, and give them an opportunity to explain their platform.

However, this is also a community event- designed to bring the FUN back into politics! There will also be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, a silent auction, and fun activities for guests to enjoy!
